About Us

At Move Chiropractic, we believe our bodies are designed for us to move and function well. But due to our everyday stresses in life such as constant poor postures, repetitive movements performed incorrectly, direct traumas or just simply not moving enough during the day, our bodies may begin to experience complications.

The human body is amazing. It is always working to help us adapt and compensate when things go wrong but also has the ability to tell us when things need to be taken care of. Have you ever had any annoying aches or pains during the day in your neck, back or any other part of your body? (These may only last for a minute). This is the intelligent "alarm" system that our brain has which tells us that there is a problem that needs fixing.

At Move Chiropractic, we often find these short lasting, annoying niggles and pains develop into chronic issues. These eventually prevent us from being able to do the things we love. Pain is the body crying for a request for change.

Our mission at Move Chiropractic is to use the latest evidence to help you stop and prevent those aches and pains from developing; And empower you to continue moving so you can live healthily and continue doing the things you love in life. Nobody should live with pain.

Our Team

Trevor Wong (Director & Chiropractor)

B.Chir.Sc, M.Chiro

Trevor was born and raised in Sydney, where he completed his Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic degrees at Macquarie University. Since graduating, he has practised across many parts of Sydney, including the Hills District, Northern Suburbs, Southern Sydney and the Lower North Shore.

In 2019, Trevor moved to Tamworth and founded Move Chiropractic, with the goal of delivering high-quality, evidence-informed chiropractic care to the local community.

Trevor believes strongly in lifelong learning and regularly attends professional development courses to continually refine his skills and stay up to date with advances in chiropractic care and rehabilitation. He values innovation and enjoys integrating new techniques and technology into his treatments to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Through years of clinical experience, Trevor has come to understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to pain or injury. People respond differently to treatment, and effective care often requires more than just one technique.

“A common complaint I see is low back pain, and in many cases chiropractic adjustments alone are not enough to fully resolve the issue. That’s why I often combine adjustments with techniques such as dry needling, massage therapy and exercise rehabilitation to deliver longer-lasting results.”

As a result, Trevor takes a multifaceted and individualised approach to patient care, which may include:

  • Chiropractic Adjustments

  • Exercise Rehabilitation

  • Massage Therapy

  • Dry Needling

  • Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT)

  • Functional Neuromuscular Assessment

  • Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM)

  • Activator Technique

  • Muscle Electrotherapy

Trevor has a special interest in treating headaches, back pain, shoulder pain and sports-related injuries. He has also had the privilege of working with athletes at state, national and international levels, across a wide range of sports including rugby, CrossFit, gymnastics, weightlifting, Oztag and rodeo.
